Our new hairless dog *PICS* *** NEW PICS ADDED!**

Well, we got him! The breeder did our home inspection and left him with us! :woohoo He took to my crazy, rambunctious, totally-showing-off-like-they-are-on-crack boys right away, though he still pauses for a sec when they get *really* loud. He did poop in the house :doh but I can *totally* handle housebreaking. :yes I ain't skeered. :wink I do have to buy a bigger crate though, he is bigger than I thought, probably closer to 18-20lbs than 9-10. He is overweight becasue at the breeders he would steal all the other dogs' food. We are going to feed him a raw diet, so he will be slim & muscular in no time. :rockon Oh, and I was wrong...he *is* spotted, not all one color. :heart

I took my time opening this thread, remembering a former acquaintance's hairless cat, Pauly, who was so ugly that I was afraid to look at him. (Irrational, I know.) But your guy is so stinkin adorable. Have fun with your new family member.

I'm not a "dog person" but even I think he is cute! :yes Part of the reason I'm not a dog person is due to pet allergies. :think Seems like that wouldn't be an issue with that kind. I've never seen a hairless dog before.....much cuter than a hairless cat!

Oh man, those hairless cats give me nightmares. :shiver LOL!

It's weird tho, 'cause you can't pet him like a normal dog. your hand "sticks". And he sweats! He doesn't drool, no hair, and he only sheds skin cells every 20 days, so no dander either. ANd no doggy odor. :thumbsup He even licked DS in the face and DS didn't have ANY reaction!!! :woohoo :ptl I am SOOO excited!!!

He is acting a little scared of DH and other men's voices, but I'm sure he will come around once he realized they mean him no harm. I mean, gosh, if he warmed up to my boys....:lol

I sewed him a bunch of cute clothes out of old t-shirts I had, but he's too big for them. I did buy him a cute puffy vest off ebay and I am going to sew him some clothes that fit as soon I get a chance. :rockon I think I need to pick up some old sweaters from Freecycle though, I can't knit at all...
