We had one really good day 2 days ago. She didn't get a single spanking, untill her dad got home. :-/ Well, I sort of got lazy after that day, and today when she fed the dog more food after I told her not to, I decided to put the dog food in the closet, out of sight out of mind, right? Well, she said, "Thank you for not spanking me." And I didn't know what to say, but it made me aware of how often we do spank, and for the silliest things sometimes. She thought the dog was hungry, she was showing kindness to the dog, and was worried i would spank her for it. Eye opening.
I am going to work so much harder to recreat the day we had 2 days ago and to pray that hubby will see a diffrence in her and stop feeling the need to spank as well. :)
