Here (http://www.colourlovers.com/craft/blog/2009/03/05/how-to-make-a-rainbow-cake) are basic instructions for how to make a rainbow cake, or here (http://17andbaking.com/2009/07/16/rainbow-pride-party-cake/) for the layered version, but I can't find one that specifically uses Kool-Aid as the colouring. Commenters do say, though, that they've done it with Kool-Aid, so I'd guess just substitue the food dye for Kool-Aid. :shrug3 I've reeeally been wanting to try this cake! :mrgreen

I've done it twice and all I did was make a cake according to the (box :bag) directions and add food gel colouring til I liked the colours. I just spooned the colours in in whatever order I desired reversing it for the top layer. I made a cake once and cupcakes once. Easy peasy, no craziness or diet sprite.
