George. I evicted him from the laundry, and he missed his usual landing. His foot is hurt. He's limping and inclined not to walk on it at all. I think we're waiting till morning, and taking him to our regular vet, not the animal ER tonight.

:hugheart My George has a permanent limp from a bacterial infection years ago. Praying he feels better in the AM.

Josh came home and checked him out. He's walking on it now. Used it to knead a silk skirt. :rolleyes Grooming it a -lot-, limping a little, but nothing but calm while Josh squeezed and poked and prodded it.

Well, it works well enough to use the new cat scratcher. It looks like it'll be okay.
It scared me to death. I hate it when the cats get hurt, and when he at first wouldn't put any weight on it, I was sure I'd just broken a cat.

It takes a lot to break a cat :-) And they tend to heal quickly too...

I'm glad that George is all better.

True. I've had a kitten take a faceplant from a 6' high shelf and a cat pull a muscle because she was tearing around the house like a cheetah :doh The latter was limping around for several days, but has been fine ever since.
