What is Screen Addiction?

I saw this on another thread and I want to know what it is. What are the symptoms?

Talking about TV - what do you mommas do about TV? My ds wants my constant attention and the only way I can do things like wash dishes is to pop a Wiggles DVD in. I don't want to have screen addiction on my hands!!

Children who are screen addicted:

1) Are limited in creative play.
2) Think hyper-focused on when can they be on the computer/watch tv/watch a movie.
3) Do not leave well or turn off well when a parent says "enough TV".
4) Are "edgy" or "irritable" if they can't watch tv (or screen equivalent)
