View Full Version : Chicken Italian-easy and fabulous!

Pour 1.5 cups of rice into your crockpot (whatever kind you like best). Drizzle some italian dressing on top (about 1/4 cup). Add enough water to cover it (I didn't measure it). Put in your thawed chicken (I used thighs and drumsticks). Cover with a little over a cup of good italian dressing or a fancy vinagarette. Add 4 pats of butter over the chicken.
Cook on high for 30 min (to get chicken up to temp) and then slow cook for about 5 hours.

SO SO GOOD! And easy!!! :yum

Forgot to say that I took the skin off the chicken first! You want to let all the yummy taste get through to the meat.

Ooh, another I'll have to try and wheat free too! With T-ball coming up soon I need to refresh my crockpot cooking skills.
