Roman/Toga Party themed cake???

Any ideas?

My friend is having a toga party for her birthday on Saturday night (her birthday was Monday, the Ides of March)...any ideas on an awesome cake? Another friend is making it and is at a loss...she had visions of a colleseum but is a little scared to tackle that. She also found a little Roman Playmobile guy and was thinking of some kind of death scene on the cake. So, Cesar, Rome, togas...hit me with your best ideas! It would be nice if 15-20 people could have a small piece of it..ideas for flavour and filling/icing welcome!

Could you have a fire theme? You know, Rome burning, playmobile guy running away. :think Maybe something honey flavored. Another idea could be a variation on a meringue type dessert - think Roman god floating on a cloud. Meringue shell with filling, whipped cream and fruit.
