What causes yellow stains on clothes that have been stored?:shrug3 And how can I get them out? I have tried oxyclean and that didn't work. Keep in mind that these are baby clothes.

I had that happen. I think it is from old spit up stains that I guess when you wash them they look clean, but there must be some left behind that sets in when it is stored. I know I washed them and some came out and some did not. It has been many years ago though since I had babies. I cannot remember what products worked on it.
I would just keep washing them with different products and hope that one of them will work. You might try Dawn dish soap too on them.

I'm so glad you asked this question. I have taken out DD's old clothes that have been sitting in the cupboard for the last 3 years and 90% of the stuff has those yellow stains. It's definitely not spit up because a couple of the items were brand new, she never wore them at all.
Unfortunately I don't live in the USA so we don't have Oxiclean or even Dawn.

No, I just let them soak for half an hour maybe I'll try again.
