housekeeping, meal plan, phone calls... w hat do you have to do? what are your goals?

my list for today only:
tidy living room, dining room and kitchen
declutter kitchen for 15 minutes
put children's laundry away
45 minutes (maybe an hour :shifty) at the gym once kids are asleep tonight (it got too late, so I did Jillian Michaels' cardiokickboxing and some crunches)

homemade veggie burgers for lunch, leftover turkey and veggies for dinner, fruit and veggies and nuts for snacks :tu

place a vitacost order
go to bed bath and beyond for a dining room chair cover (they didn't have it :()
call insurance company
get stuff ready for playgroup tomorrow
help kids w/homework and speech stuff
doctor's visit
firm up mealplan for week, and make sure I have all groceries I need

:phew I think that's it. I'll cross off as I go and check in later :tu

I am paying bills as we speak and later am going to try to find DH's drill so I can hang the curtains I bought. Probably need to clean out a cabinet or two in the kitchen, and the junk drawer in the bedroom is on the list too.

Think we'll go to the library too, supposed to snow again tonight which means we stay in until it's melted.

Clean out the bathroom cabinets. Almost done, two and a half done, one half to go.

Meal plan for the week, make grocery list, grocery shop.

Laundry. (Working on it.)

Start piling stuff for the thrift store pick-up in the middle of my garage so that I can call and schedule the pick-up. I think they'll want to know how much stuff. I organized my entire garage when we thought we were moving to Singapore. I meant to have a garage sale but keep putting it off. I really hate having garage sales, so I'll just donate everything. But I have other bags of donation stuff in other rooms, so I must put it all in one place.

I really just want to sit and knit today, but I'll only let myself pick it up once I'm done.

Must get going.

The one thing I won't do today no matter how very much I want to is drive to Augusta and smack DH upside his head. I will not do it. I won't.

Someone else tell me I won't do this.

No matter how much he deserves it.

No matter how much I want to.

:hissyfit

I was trying to tell him how horribly his son was behaving yesterday and right in the middle of me talking, he interrupts and says "Oh, ok. I gotta go now." Seriously? He didn't hear a word I said. I think a strongly worded email is in order here.

- call kmart customer service (I bought a pair of moccasins there and after less than an hour of wearing them they got a hole in the toe area where they were sewn together ()
- diaper laundry
- pay bills
- make a loaf of bread
- unpack from the weekend (we went snow tubing with my dad and his family)
- make dinner

because we went away this weekend I really have to do laundry and clean the house in general but I don't think I am getting much of that done today. I am also three weeks behind in my coursework :nails (I am taking 15 credits online)... is anyone else as desperate as me?????? :blush

what a bummer... mondays are a drag!!

I never made bread but I did make homemade tortillas. I really need to get my butt in gear :blush Tomorrow will be a better day...

Already done--dealt with broken van window, planned course of action for schoolwork that is due within the next couple of weeks, made menu plans for the week (usually done on Sunday and I grocery shop on Mondays but today was a different kind of Monday with having to deal with the van.), fed children breastfast, snack, lunch

Need to do:

Type and print grocery list
figure out Target's coupon policy
print more coupons
plan for gardening so I can buy some things tomorrow
put away laundry. Tons of it.
Snack for children
homeschool
make dinner
dishes

I've already been grocery shopping, to music class, to the bank to deposit some stuff, and to goodwill with the girls to find materials for a "build your own instrument" project. I'm ready to call it a day. :P~

I still need to: put away the dry groceries, clean the kitchen, sweep the floors, keep laundry cycling through, fold and put away several loads, plant some seeds, read with dd5yo, scrub down my entire bathroom from top to bottom (thanks kids, dog and dh :rolleyes), and unpack the girls' suitcase from last week :bag. I need coffee and a nap already, though. :giggle :cup

I have to pack my house.

:haha

I still need to-

mop kitchen floor
unload/reload dishwasher
wash dishes
file nails
send diapers through rinse :dohKeep forgetting that.

In addition to what I wanted to do, I took the boys outside for about 45 minutes, cleaned the toilet, changed the handtowels..... :scratch folded kids laundry, and took it upstairs- where it sits. :shifty

For arty activity, we are coloring. :shrug3 Actually I think Maximus is doing prewriting stuff, and Minimus is mostly breaking crayons. :giggle

sigh....

For Maximus's homeschooly stuff, we did a few paper mazes together. He's just at the very beginning of working mazes.

I feel like I got lots done.

I got everything done except dusting, cleaning my room and dinner.

Doing dishes takes FOREVER. Getting anything done takes forever. The kids are actually 'locked' in their bedroom right now. They were really unhappy at first but now they're playing. It's the ONLY way I get anything done without raising my voice, hurting my back or flat out quitting.

I'm glad I got done what I did and I think making the list, telling you all and then doing it makes a huge difference in my productivity. :tu

Talk for hours with iveyrock.

Direct the kids to food when hungry.

Watch a movie or read a book this evening.

I am thinking I don't really need a list to accomplish all this. I am highly motivated. :giggle

Mop Kitchen.
Clean Fridge shelves.
Mop bathroom
Do massive amounts of laundry
clean out the car (why is it always ME that gets stuck doing this?)
try not to kill anyone (it's pms week)
go to the tiny grocery store to spend our food bank voucher

hmmmm...... not as much as I wanted. I did get two loads of laundry done. And I CAN say that I was a mostly gentle, but slightly sarcastic Mama today. :shifty
