I have a chuck roast in my freezer that looks unlike any I have seen. It is shaped like a standing rib roast almost. It has stripes of fat in it, and I am not sure if it has bones. (I did not pick it out, it came from the farm frozen/sealed)
It does not look like it would make a good pot roast at all, so I am wondering if I can just make some soup out of it.
And, if I can, how do I do it? I think it is about 2.5 pounds.
Maybe a beef barley soup would be good if you have a recipe.
