is this horrifyingly lazy?

I want to rent a Rug Doctor to clean the hardwood floors in my place. It's all hardwood except the bathroom. I also want to use the hand attachment to clean the upholstery on the couch. According to the website I can do both.

The thought of hand and knee scrubbing every floor in this huge (to me) house is...ew. :-/ :blush

Not sure how much wood you have to clean but I cleaned my hardwood on hands and knees once and will never do it again.

Not lazy. Just make sure the floors are well sealed before you dig in.

I don't think it's lazy at all, but would it be cheaper in the end to buy a steam mop?
