Funky Monkey! My first attempt at a sock monkey! Got the picture loaded!

This is Funky Monkey! :D I made him for DS because I was inspired by one of his library books "10 little sock monkeys." He's not perfect but that's why we love him. :)

I made sock monkeys for my kids and for nieces and nephews for this past Christmas. It was my first attempt, and some of them were pretty funny-looking, but they loved them. Even the "big" nieces and nephews ended up wanting one, and now I've got to make some for them. :)

I used this tutorial. http://www.web-goddess.org/writing/tutorial/Image0.html It was very strightforward. I don't consider my self as "knowing how to sew." :no I have a sewing machine and I know how to operate it! :giggle Also, I am not a "pinner" - I hate to pin things! That takes too long! :giggle But that does sometimes result in less than perfect results. But I'm usually not aiming for that so :shrug3. Thanks for the encouragment ladies! :heart
