Friday five minute challenge!

First five-ish minutes:

Started loading dishwasher
Picked up toys in living room
Put on a DVD for DD
Started clearing counters from cooking dinner last night

Loaded more into dishwasher
Picked up random laundry from around the house
Started dryer
Cleaned off table

We just got home from Bible Study, so as soon as Miss E is done :nak I'll be joining you! While I'm sitting here, I think I'll write out a to-do list if that's okay :)

Finish 'old' laundry
Start laundry again, remember to wash bathmats
Write menu & grocery list
Write shopping list for Target
Call pediatrician for appts
Call 2 ppl from church (returning their calls)

That's probably all I can accomplish in one afternoon. I may stop to do a craft w/ the kids though - it's going to start raining any minute now so they'll be disappointed to not be able to play outdoors :td

Wiped counters
Wiped stove
Put *more* dishes in dishwasher
Put some lavender EO in some water in a pan on the stove to make my house smell pretty
Changed an absolutely disgusting toddler diaper :crazy2

I can't even remember the rest, lol. As I started typing this a friend called, so I lost track. :giggle

We're going to head out to the park to meet our friends in about 20 mins so I'll be around for a few and then we are going to go play! :) (But I'll be back this afternoon...I neeeeeeed to deal with laundry later. It's in a bad way!)

Me too :rockon It's great for listening while doing cleaning. I think stealing DH's iPod was a great help to my desire to do housekeeping :lol


Quick catch-up on banking/budget stuff as part of the effort to clear my kitchen counter. I should go switch laundry first though :think

Looks like it's going to be wash, rinse, repeat today with the things I just listed. Almost every dish in my house is dirty and I have four more loads of clean laundry to put away. If I make enough headway on the laundry and dishes, I also need to make some custards and candy bars.

Okay, it was fun playing but I think I am done now. My kitchen is clean and the living room is picked up. I need to go start dinner now.
