Tidied kitchen

Wrestled a comforter into the washer, got the towels out of the dryer and folded them.

Emailed a list of questions to DH - yes, this is homekeeping related :lol

Put the towels away (folding almost all of them again because dd2 is a wonderful helper, unfolding each of them as she hands them to me, saying, "Oooooo! Preeee!"), re-organized the linen closet a bit, took down the shower curtain to go in the washer next, brought the cloth diapers up from the basement.

TIP: Comforters typically require two dryer cycles, at least in my dryer, to dry, so follow them with something that you can hang on a line (which, for me, is nothing) or something that doesn't require drying, like a shower curtain, before you put it away.

I pulled the swifer out and got up all the cat hair, and dirt. Then I got the broom and swept. I still need to spot mop, but it won't hurt if I don't either LOL... I'm thinking of taking the rest of this lovely day and crocheting and marinating my chicken for tonight.

*Picked up little plastic orange pieces -- apparently houseguest's cat got hold of the bag last night, ripped it opened, and had a field day.
*Determined plastic orange pieces go to Megan's bracelet-making kit, and each one is a letter that can be impressed into bracelets. Must make sure I have all 26 letters!

I'm sitting around. Baby is napping but I know if I start doing something she's going to wake up JUST then. I think I'll have a cookie while I wait :giggle

girls toys culled, playroom cleaned from top to bottom, E's pigpen *er* room cleaned, girl's bathroom clean, living area cleaned :phew
