Good morning, Ladies :kiss

Daily Activities:
5 minute challenge participation
dishes (at least some)
laundry (at least some)
Your new habit
Return 10 things to their appropriate homes, enlist your kids' help as appropriate.
10 Minute kitchen recovery
Clutter Busters
Two Do List

Challenge One:

Option 1: Get into the bathroom and do a little bit of sprucing.

Wipe down the surfaces - sinks, counters, fixtures, mirrors and, yes, the toilet, too :shifty If the inside of the toilet needs a bit of a spruce, too, go ahead and do a quick swish with the brush.

Do you need fresh towels? How about toilet paper? Anything else need restocking / replenishing? Do that today, too.

Option 2: make this a catch up day - pick a room (or two) or the project that you think needs your attention spend 2 or 3 solid chunks of time (in 45-minute segments) on that project (as always - don't feel like you need to do the 45 minutes all at once - break it down into smaller amounts of time or smaller projects - like just one counter or dresser or floor or end table . . .)

If you choose this option, it counts for Challenge 1 and Challenge 2 :yes

Challenge Two:

Option 1: focus on one of your extra rooms - office or den or basement craft space. Spend some time tidying just surfaces and clearing out piles or things that don't belong in that room or that are in the wrong place. Do this for about 30 - 45 minutes (again, breaking it into smaller amounts if that works better because of your little ones' needs; set a timer or use a couple of favorite songs).

If you have time, dust or vacuum that space.

Option 2: same as above :)

Bonus Challenge - SIT DOWN. Rest. Pray. Show yourself some grace and some pampering. Make a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate and drink the WHOLE cup without getting up to do something UNTIL you are finished :)

Don't forget the kiddos:
Spend 20 min. with your children today in the morning and in the afternoon! Give them your undivided attention so they know just how important they are :heart Read a book, go for a walk (if it's not freezing!) play a game....Come back and tell us what you did.

And, remember, take time to be with God today. Read your Bible or pray - include your children if appropriate. But give God part of the best of your day, not just the leftovers ;)
