has anyone ever made bibs out of their prefolds? my boys spit up ALL THE TIME and we are constantly going through bibs. the bibs we have (all given to us) are UGLY and never match their adorable outfits, so i was thinking how i would like some neutral colored bibs and ones that absorb better than the ones we have now. the boys are outgrowing their preemie pfs and i have a ton of infant pfs, so i was wondering if it was feasible to make bibs out of them?

or, does anyone have any links to places that sell great bibs? :)

the best bibs we ever had for our puker were made from dishtowels with neckholes cut in them and tee-shirt necks sewn in.

here's a tutorial that looks easy enough.

those are some funny looking pfs...they aren't quilted up at all. :scratch i will try that with what i have though.

weren't the dishtowels kinda thin? that's why i was thinking pfs...they would absorb a lot.

I'm sure a well quilted pf would absorb a lot more. All I had that baby were Birdseye pfs and you know how unabsorbant thos are.
