I'm hosting my DD's birthday party this weekend. It's a Luau theme. I always make some sort of grown up beverage for the parents, last year I did pumpkin spice lattes. I need some suggestions for a drink for the parents who may choose to stay - and hot drinks are best, because it's cold here already. Anything? Anyone? Bonus points if it can tie in to our theme. :shifty

You'd be surprised how good tropical drinks can be, warm. :yes Experiment with some pineapple juice and mixers and stuff.

how about coconut cocoa with whipped cream? I personally haven't tried it (I don't like coconut) but I know some people who love it. :)

hot coconut milk,

coconut, banana, orange juice & lemon (not sure how this would taste warm).

Also, you can always google recipes to find some that you'd enjoy warm. Most are alcoholic, but, its usually easy to make its non-alcoholic equivalent.

Me too. :giggle I was thinking that all you need is some coconut rum & pineapple juice. A cold bevy but definitely one that would warm your toes. :)
