My first attempt at card making (With PICS!!!)

I tried making some cards today and it was actually pretty fun! Time -consuming, but fun. I like that I could set it down and come back to it later without having to pack everything away and take it out again. That's a relief! So anyway, I made them using old Christmas cards, textured wallpaper made out of various reeds & grasses, colored card stock, and I drew the designs with markers. So, whaddaya think for a first-timer? :wink

sofor those of you who make cards/repurpose stuff, help me out here. What do I do on the inside of the cards where it says "Merry Christmas?" Would it look stupid if I put some designs on the inside too? I'm not quite sure how to go about covering up the words. They are small, about 2" x 2".

Could you use another small piece of cardstock and marker up a design that is complimentary to the cover, or a saying like "Thank you" or "Happy Birthday"? Cover up the Merry Christmas with the cardstock?

I love them and really like the texture of the fronts. Two of each has a great idea and you could also cut out larger pieces of cardstock to line the writing side with a blank or framed box for writing a new message.
