Do you think I should dry the leaves first, or put them in as is? We don't have any vodka, so I think maybe I'd like to infuse oil, and then we can use the oil make mint chocolate brownies to convince dd that real green produce can be turned into something yummy, lol. (She won't eat spaghetti sauce if she sees oregano leaves in it, won't eat rice with herbs, etc., much less veggies.) If I try that, do you think canola would work? What about coconut? Would that need to stay liquid to infuse? If I dry the leaves, is heat ok, like if I put them inside a gas oven with the pilot light on?
