obviously there's a lot of patterns out there, but i'm hoping for a free online tutorial :shifty

she's super princessy and very into fashion - yes, even at the age of 4 :rolleyes :giggle

What can I make her that's fun? I like Sara's twirly skirts - that's for sure a possiblity

I guess I'm thinking something she could wear - dress, skirt, girly pants :shrug3

This is the pattern I based my single layer twirly skirts on. I do the waistband different a little different, and I add a band to the bottom.

This is the pattern I used for my double layer twirly skirt. I followed it exactly (next time I will do the waistband seperately). It's a very clear, easy to follow pattern.

I made a felt mailbox playset for my niece (she just turned 5). She loves it, and my boys want one.

I used this tute to do tiered skirts for my girls for Christmas

This is for a shirred dress/top. I haven't actually done this one, b/c it was a little more complex than I thought I could pull off, but looks really neat.

:tu I decided to do that patchwork twirly skirt. TOOO cute! Joanns has their stars and stripes collection on sale this weekend 50% off, so I think I'm going to make a summer skirt out of red, white and blue fabric. That way her momma will have an easy time finding a shirt to go with it. :tu

this little girl is so into clothing it's not even funny - well, actually it kind of is :giggle My sister is so the opposite so it's funny seeing her daughter obsessed over clothing and has been since she was 2.5.

:giggle The 2 newest posts are going to my friend's dd for her 2nd b-day. The princess one went to my other friend's dd. The dress went to my other friends 4 year old dd, and I'm making 2 more out of that puppy fabric - one for my niece and the other for my friend's 4 year old dd again. I love making twirly skirts. Love it! I seriously need a girl!!! I am 1/2 considering opening an etsy shop to sell my skirts, but I'm afraid that would take away the fun of making them. I dunno, still thinking about that one.
