when I made that ring sling carrier, it was 2 1/2 yard length and two pieces about 21 inches wide. and the rings where not too big and not too little. maybe mid size :think anyway big enough for the fabric to fit through nicely. and for extra assurance, I would knot the two pieces after I got the sling at the correct fitting for holding baby. so it wouldn't pull back through the rings.

super easy to make :yes I have one and I love it (not that brand). The key is finding the right fabric. :wink You want one that's stretchy enough, but not too stretchy. It's just two tubes with a small loop/piece holding the two together in back.

the ones I have made have not been stretchy fabric and they have been super comfy.
