I have a rooftop deck that doesn't get used at all. I have toyed with the idea of planting a very small (probably just tomatoes to start) garden in our yard for the past couple of years but we have quite a few deer in the area and an unfenced yard. I'm thinking of using the rooftop deck to plant a few tomato plants. Would that work? What would I need to get started?
