I've made that without the superfood and it was fantastic! I think the green food would be great in it, too.

Just wanted to come back and say that I did this again yesterday--this time with my green food in it. I use greens plus high orac berry flavored.

I used avocado, rice milk, raw cacao, greens plus, a drizzle of agave nectar and instead of the asian pear/banana I added a few frozen strawberries. I have made it with banana before and it's very good as well. :yes

So, how much does raw cacao powder cost?

Also, what brand of green powder do you buy? I'm getting ready to order more and I want to look at other brands before I re-order.

I bought my cacao powder a while ago from my chiropractor--it's natural Zing brand. They buy stuff wholesale from them and don't mark up. I *think* I paid around $15. Hard to remember though.

AFA the green food. I get the Greens plus high orac anti-oxidant wild berry burst from Vitacost. I have tried a bunch of green foods and this is the only one I can take straight with water and actually enjoy it. It has Stevia in it for sweetener and is definitely more "berry" flavored than "green" flavored if that makes sense. I'm not a fan of Green magma. Also, last time I tried the "generic" Vitacost brand of the berry flavor and I was not thrilled with it. Definitely "green" tasting.

Vitamineral is better, but also more expensive:

Natural zing cacao powder ($21.95):

I do not know how much shipping is :shrug

Remember that you do not use much when you are making a smoothie--generally 1 TBS is plenty :yes It lasts me a while, but then again, I don't use it every single day either. :think

OH---I just saw that the one bananacake posted is a 2 pk! $28 something for 32 oz.

That is a better deal. If you are interested, I would be willing to split an order with you. It would be free to ship to me (or you), then we could split the shipping of 1lb to the other person. It would still be much cheaper than buying seperately. Pm me if you think you might want to do that.
