I was just thinking about my kids' troubles with milk. They seem to be sensitive to actual dairy. Finding a dairy alternative that isn't laced with corn is very hard. We don't do soy. I can make rice milk at home, and have, and the kids love it. But there's really very little nutrition in it. I've experimented with fortifying it myself, with mixed results.

I was also thinking about quinoa (as it is a complete protein with lots of goodies in it) and the fact that my kids will NOT touch it with a 10 foot pole. The only way I've snuck it into them is if it is a flour mixed into the baking. I have a bag of quinoa seeds, but no flour grinder. Then all of a sudden, :idea ! Why can't I make quinoa milk the same way I make rice milk? So, I'm going to give it a go, but thought I'd ask if anyone here has done it yet...
