i just did a load of laundry - delicates/handwash.... two of the sweaters came out with what looks like bleach marks all over them. The other clothing was not affected.
We don't use bleach, I didn't use oxyclean. I used Woollite. What happened? Anyone?

Were they brand new?

That is so frustrating!
I have no idea, unless there was some residue from something in your washer.
Or, were you by chance cleaning something while you were wearing them?

GE Profile Washer.
Wasn't cleaning anything - one of the sweaters was mine, worn once, the others was an older one of dh's.
Still just sick over it.

Maybe you could take back the one that you wore just one time. Maybe the dye was defective.

If they had never been washed before, I would assume chemicals from the processing or dying were causing the problem. They activated when they got wet. If they'd been washed before, that would be unlikely.
