OK. More than 5min, but I work better in half hour spurts. :giggle Load in the laundry, laundry gathered from living room and playroom (I have strippers :rolleyes), dishwasher going, kitchen counters wiped, trash out, kitchen floor swept, living room tidied, bedroom tidied, bed made, throws folded.
I'm taking a wee break now. My back's hurting. :hissyfit <<<me, being all fussy. :O

yummy! Is that anything like an ice cream maker?
Aisling
02-06-2009, 01:40 PM
It's similar! :yes Only you don't have to do the whole salt/ice thing. It actually has a freezable cooler thingy that you pour the mixture into, and then it just spins it around in circles with an agitator. I :heart my frozen yogurt maker! :giggle

That sounds just like my ice cream maker.
So. . . will you tell me how you make pina colada frozen yogurt? That sounds YUMMY! I'd love to make frozen yogurt. We've gotten SO bad about our diet during pregnancy/postpartum. Time to get back on track a bit. :bag

-1 carton vanilla (or plain) yogurt
-honey to taste
-2 TB vanilla extract (to vanilla-fy plain yogurt :giggle)
-1 tsp grated ginger (optional, but great if you have a cold!)
-1/2 C pineapple juice
-1/2 C unsweetened grated coconut
Sometimes, I put in almonds, too. You can also put in crushed pineapple. :yum
Blend (I was lazy and just hand mixed today, so I wouldn't have to wash the blender :giggle), and pour into machine! :yum

Perfect timing to read this thread...I have 2 litres of plain yoghurt that I need to use up. After I put my ice cream maker into the freezer I'll go clean something (and add pineapple juice to my shopping list ;)).
