except the price! :giggle

You can read about it here (http://www.emediawire.com/releases/2008/7/prweb1109584.php) and there are some links w/ pics but basically, it's a square bed that's 9 feet by 9 feet! That's bigger than the queen and twin pushed together that we have!

Wow! It looks like you would need a large room for that. And it seems a bit creepy that they show one man and three women on the bed in the photo :bag But, it would be nice for a family bed.

I think that's just a photo of some customers to add perspective of how big the bed really is. :wink

And yeah, you'd need a HUGE room. The article says that the demand is coming from owners of new homes that have HUGE master bedrooms. We had a new home in TN and our master was huge as well--we chose it because it was the perfect family bedroom. But we had a regular king.

I'd be into that. I'd probably have to knock a wall out first, but how awesome :rockon

Wow.. That would take up my entire bedroom. We'd have no where to walk... It is pretty neat though.

Wow sounds amazing!!!! We do the same thing withthe queen and the twin, we just started with it last week and it is INCREDIBLE!!! DD has started SSTN because she has so much room to move around yet still have part of her touching us (we're sleeping better too!) I think we'll stick with the arrangment we have now...But DH was saying how awesome it would be to have a wall to wall mattress to sleep on. :0)

:jawdrop I want it! (Not that it would fit through my door ways or anything. ;))

We too have the queen/twin combo and it is just right for the three of us big sleepers... where's poor baby gonna fit?

I can't find the price...

We have a queen and we really need a king.

I'll bet that the linens are really expensive, too! We have an Olympic Queen bed and the sheets are pricey. They've come down a lot since we bought it 6 years ago, but they're still expensive. Odd sizes are hard to find.

That being said, I think I might like one!

Oooh! I want one! :giggle Did someone say what it costs? Probably just cheaper for me to buy a couple twins and extend my queen.

I am drooling. I think you'd have to take the roof off my house to get it in. Also, we wouldn't be able to walk in our bedroom. We'd just roll around on the mattress to get from one end to the other. :giggle

Is that so bad? :cool After all, it's the sleeping room, right? In a way, I think it would be cool to have a room that was pretty much just a bed.

Wow, that's really cool. I'll have to keep it in mind for when we have more kiddos. Dh, dd, and I take up all the room in our king -- we all like to stretch out to sleep. I'm interested in how much it costs too.

Wow, that's really cool. The three of us take up our whole king, so we'll have to add a twin if we ever have another baby.

We moved our bedroom into the lower level family room, so we would probably have room for that bed. Too bad we *just* bought a new mattress.

We used to have a king mattress that had a hinge in the middle so it would bend to fit it through doorways, etc. I imagine this would HAVE to have a hinge--even if someone had a huge bedroom, the doorway would still be standard . . .

And yes, I heard from someone who saw it at the store that the linens were super expensive--you can only buy them at PM Bedroom Gallery, I think.

It would be fun. In spite of the fact that they are tiny bed hogs, I love sleeping with the girls. They would rather sleep in their own rooms. :(

that looks like almost what we had when we had the two full size beds in our room when we first got married

:hugheart I've had some kids who stayed for a long time and others who preferred not to co-sleep, so I know what you mean :yes
