DS had diarrhea yesterday and it got on the rug. I thought I had it all cleaned up but I just found a soaked in, dryed up, crusty spot under his chair. How best to get it off??

probaly you have to soak thearea for a little bit... you can try vinegar if you know it's ok with your carpet. then just scrub it up.

HEY! I recognize that little helper! :heart I didn't realize you were on here! I'd soak it with some warm soapy water w/ some oxyclean.

Scrap it off with a knife (like a putty knife, ideally) and then soak off the rest.

I actually had this problem about a month ago. The Woolite/Oxy-Clean stuff got it up (after I scraped up the dried poo :sick)

The Woolite stuff looks like "Resolve" and is in that aisle :)

:yes I love this stuff. It's cleaned up everything I've used it on. Even gets that lovely orange cat puke color out of my light colored carpets.
