If anyone saw my list yesterday it included phoning our CareGroup/Bible Study members and inviting a couple new families to join. Our group has had sproradic attendance this year, mainly due to childcare needs. So me, being the attached mama I am thought we should include the kids at tonight's meeting. So far, including kids, we have had 26 people confirm they are coming. Needless to say, I need to get my house in order! Anyone out there with me on a 5-minute challenge?

If you haven't done this before, set your timer and work for at least 5 minutes. Come back and share what you did, then when this thread comes up in you New Replies box you will be motivated to go work for another 5 minutes. In the process you will be motivating others to love their homes, too!

I ordered funk butter. :haha http://oyinhandmade.com/oyin/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=7
It is a natural deodorant. Normally, I don't have to wear any deodorant, but I know I will need some postpartum, and this is the only stuff that I think will work for the postpartum stinkies. I keep forgetting about it, so I put it on my list.
I just ordered it while I was getting C down for his nap. Now, I am ordering my vitamins.

Joining in...I've already washed all our sheets and mattress pads this morning, need to do some more cleaning because my house is sliding into disaster and the IL's are coming over to watch the boys tomorrow night. After how nice I kept my house during the holidays I want it to be at least SLIGHTLY back up to what I want...

I've been busy weekending rooms:

finished tidying up
vacuumed family room
swept and spot cleaned kitchen floor
wiped kitchen counters
loaded dishwasher
vacuumed up some dust bunnies under my bed - I found them lurking when I got out some posterboard for school today
finished straightening up DS's room and all of his Legos

made out deposit
checked meat in crockpot

Washed dishes, vacuumed carpets upstairs (as well as under the sofa cushions), put last mattress pad in wash. Picked up clutter, including plastic containers that had mysteriously made their way from drawer to living room floor.

Ahh, funk butter! Now I understand. :)

I prepped an appy for tonight, baked a couple of cakes for the freezer (cake decorating class supply), cleaned up the kitchen, unloaded and reloaded dishes and hand washed a few things.
