i just ordered some, mostly as an attempt for dishwasher det (ill liquefy some) but ill try them in the laundry too

I use soapnuts and am really happy with them,especially for my lil one with eczema.You can also reduce your water usage as they dont need rinsing.The clothes are naturally softened and have a slight vinegary smell.The only think they dont work well alone on is bad smell ie Middleschooler BO .If you add a few drops of EO in the final rinse this combats that a little.They are really inexpensive and last for several washes.If you can squish the shell of a used soapnut and still get some foam then they are still good to useYou can use them for lots of different things
