Wonderful Wednesday 5 min challenge *with goals*

You know how the 5 min challenges work, right? When this comes up, get up from the computer & do 5 minutes of cleaning. then come back & post what you did to :poke us into doing more ourselves b/c this is in our "unread replies".

I wanted to add a "goals" section today. If you have anything you know you need or want to work on today, post it in your first post. I am hoping that without the HHBC this will help me to focus some.

I sorted laundry, started a load & folded a leftover load of towels from Monday.
I also spent an hour trying to nurse a tired S into a nap. :sigh She is so tired but not succumbing to sleep

did some online library stuff - i really love my library and how much i can do online (renew, search, place holds - and it is the whole county, so lots more books available through!) i have Screamfree Parenting and the 5 minute artisan bread cookbook coming! and there are 2 copies of ames' your four year old at my local right now - so when i go pick up, i'll also be getting that!

Began tidying kitchen.

Boy, I am so, so behind! I had a few things on my list from Monday, and I did not do any of them, nor did I get to them yesterday, because I had a sick toddler that only wanted to snuggle on my lap. So sweet, and I relish snuggle time, but I could not get anything done, except the urgent things.

Today at home:
Unload dishwasher
handwash dishes
load dishwasher
wipe counters
sweep floor
mop floor
vacuum downstairs
fold and put away laundry (4 loads :sigh )
When out:
Send bills
Since you all reminded me- return library book
Deposit checks at bank

Okay, so five minutes doesn't go as far as it used to these days :shifty

But I've emptied the dishwasher, started two loads of laundry (I was so tired last night, I forgot to put ds' diaper on him!! :doh AND he slept ON TOP of the bed. I have to wash everything!! And we're getting a new bed tomorrow, and I have that bedding to wash too. :doh


Anyway, my goals:

keep the house tidy
clean the office/pay bills
wash bedding
recover rice packs
dye something
play with kids
go see my BFF the chiropractor :shifty
avoid anyone who looks like they might say, "HAVEN'T YOU HAD THAT BABY YET??????"
make dinner or pull something out of the freezer
call representatives about the stupid laws they like to pass. :shifty This is a good job for a cranky pregnant lady.

While I was getting the SMF server error thing, somehow I got 2 reply notifications in my email.
So, I unloaded the dishwasher and started piling dishes in the sink.

As an aside....I am just sitting her icing my sacrum and lower back, (chiro orders) so I am not jumping up to get to work, but I read this and wonder if you are like me and seem to get more done when you don't get dressed first. I seem to do better just hitting the ground running. It is so anti-flylady!

I *definatly* get more done when I am not dressed. I think it is b/c once I am dressed I don't want to mess up what I have on & have to change clothes again. Plus, I am more comfy in my pjs w/o a bra so I feel like doing more. The whole get dressed to your shoes thing did *not* work for me with Flylady.

I'm feeling the need to tie up the loose ends from this list. Now off to clean the rec. room while the kids get their weekend Wii time in...then I'll be done. The board games will have to wait until my next purge mood to strike. ;)
