Musty towels -- help

They're our bath towels and they've just been washed and dried, but they still smell musty and mildewy. :yuck :blush

I'm not sure exactly why, since they're hung to dry after our showers and not put in the hamper wet. :shrug

Clearly, I have to wash them again, but what can I do to get rid of the smell ? :shrug Would baking soda work? :shrug

I stripped mine like diapers when that happened. Hot water, not much soap, lots of rinses. :shrug

That's happened to me before, and rewashing in hot water with baking soda seemed to do the trick.
