Tuesday 5 Minute Challenge 11/11

If you don't know yet what these are--- as soon as you open this thread, get up, set the timer for 5 minutes & get something done in your house or make a phone call you have been avoiding, etc. The only "pass" you get is if you are nak. Then come back & post what you did so that this thread will reappear in everyone's "new replies". :)

The days I am pretty faithful to opening this thread I get a lot done in my house! I won't mention the days that I pretend like I don't see this in my "new replies". ;)

unloaded dishwasher, put iron away (it was still warm to the touch last night when I went to bed, so I didn't want to put it in the cabinet, I left it out)

worked with kids to go through their clothes & pull out stuff they aren't wearing. Today is the day I wash their clothes & all their drawers were already overflowing. :/

Emptied our clothes hamper and took the stuff downstairs to laundry room and sorted it. Tossed ds's tkd uniform in the dryer, put a load of clothes in wash. Off to make up scavenger hunt for boys for when they start getting bored.

Straightened linen closet (ok...shelf...I have one shelf) in bathroom, made bed, picked up clothes off floor and hung them or folded them. Our bedroom floor is a hot spot!

okay, i've been cleaning all morning, but this is the first time checking in here at the 5 minute challenge.

I just finished making compost soup :sick (I don't have a compost bin outside, but I save my organic scraps and put them in the food processor at the end of the week and have been dumping them into the garden in hopes that it will make the soil more rich)

I am getting ready to work on the living room for 5 minutes and then start in on the hall closet. We'll see how long the kids give me since they are sleeping now.

Ditto, except I've just been cleaning for the last hour or so.

I straightened up the bed/table linen cabinet and the bath linen cabinet. Then I looked around the house for the scattered linens that DD1 and DD2 had confiscated from my piles. :giggle Then I sorted laundry and fluffed up the clothes in the dryer.

I finally got S to sleep. So I cleaned up the classroom, put some clothes in the correct hampers, did the kitchen "recovery" & cleaned up the last few toys from the family room. :phew
