Can we switch those around if we want when the time come?
The declutering in our bedroom, like clearing our dresser or floor, can count for decluttering, right? I can't even get to any surfaces to dust right now. :bag We are never in our bedroom.

Yes, it'll just be a "weekend challenge" since the board is closed - do the family thing on your church day & the task on the other :yes
Also, yes, count de-cluttering your surfaces in the Daily's part so you get more points :tu

Yes, that's what I was thinking. If you see some things that obviously don't belong - move them out; Pull out any empty hangers & take them to your laundry area. Little things like that.
I was thinking of doing closets (for any or all of your bedrooms) on our declutter day next week :yes Everyone has different levels of chaos in their master or secondary closets, so I think leaving it open-ended like that will suit most people.

I don't know what my problem was yesterday, but I feel more *up to* this today. The only problem is, I've been so focused on these things this week that other things on my to-do list have gotten neglected! :/
I was going to ask if we get the weekend off...we have to do weekend challenges too?! :P

And is today's challenge for our own bedroom, or are we supposed to do all the bedrooms?

I actually found it really easy after the laundry challenge, because our main bedroom messes are due to it being laundry central station! :giggle All I really had to do was the closet, some sorting through big rubbermaids for clothes that could be culled, moving those into the closet, bed, and dusting/vacuuming. :cool
(heh, that sounds like a lot all written out, doesn't it! :haha but it only took about an hour)
Lavender water: Just a few drops of Lavender EO in an empty spray bottle! :cool

Need to dust one dresser still.
Clean mirror(s)- still need to do.
Clean floor- I even moved the furniture. I found so much stuff under my dresser, including my favorite foot lotion. I am not calling it done because I have to do one window and I need DH's help for that one because I cannot get to it.
I will finish either tonight or tomorrow and repost my total.
The room is still a mess, because DH's dresser tops are covered with stuff, but those are his, so I can't really do anything about it. It is mostly papers/receipts/don't know what- his stuff. He has his messy areas, too. Not just me. But the room is way better than when I started this week.

Okay--I didn't get to do anything yesterday because I had to go into the office and clean there :shifty Had to reorganize an entire storage room and then rearrange the entire office :sigh It was exhausting--and I got home late and didn't get the challenge done :(
Sooooo today I went through and cleaned the floors (moving things--under things--serious cleaning) in the dining room and living room. I rearranged EVERYTHING for our holiday decorations :D Even rolled back the rug in the LR and cleaned the floor underneath :phew
I was going to do the bedroom and the little hall and the bathroom floors but I was exhausted :/ Literally couldn't move another inch :shifty So I don't know how to tally that :blush

I am a bit annoyed at myself today. I spent all my energy out running errands and then came home and crashed on the couch before going to hang out with friends this evening. So now I am up way too late finishing my list for today and I still didn't get to the kitchen. Maybe next week. I wonder when my days off are next week? Also, the first "errand" I wanted to do was to take my devotions to a park since the weather was unseasonably warm today (60's in WI). I was all settled in for about 5 min before getting swarmed by Asian beetles. :sigh Anyway, here's my points tally for today and maybe I will do some devotions before turning the lights out.
laundry - 1 complete load = 20 pts
dishes - shiny sink = 20 pts
5 min challenge - i did get a couple bits in before heading out this afternoon - 50 pts
bedroom - 200 pts
bonus - 200 pts- can i count this if I didn't get the kitchen done? That was the day before I joined the challenge.
devotions - 100 pts
so either 390 or 590 pts

Again, this is a good time to do some de-cluttering of your dresser-tops, or even inside your closet, if you dare! It's also nice if you can take 5 minutes to straighten-up the contents of your dresser drawers - don't pull it all out & refold it, just tidy the piles.
BONUS: 200pts for sticking with us through this whole week :kiss
Total today: 445 pts

well, i'm allergic to lavendar....so any thoughts on what else would smell good? I have a few EOs in my stash, but not too many.
I like relaxing for the bedroom -- Chamomile is VERY relaxing. :heart :heart . . .sandalwood, jasmine or ylang ylang if it's your bed. . . some of the romantic ones ;)

You're making me tired & achy just reading that! :phew I'll give you 200pts for doing your LR & DR b/c we're going to do that later this week - but on that day you have to do your bedroom instead, deal? :mrgreen
