removing grease stains?

how do you get them out of wash clothes and napkins?
wash clothes: I mean when your removing those hard grease stains from the stove top or oven, it ends up being sticky on the wash cloth.
napkins: when you wipe your hands while eating fried chicken.

Dawn or something like that might work.
