This past Wednesday we said goodbye to our lab, Molly. She was pushing 16 years old and was just warn out and not doing well.
Molly came to our family 15 years ago as a dog who had suffered some kind of trauma. Her legs and tail had scars and she was quite skittish. We often wondered what her story was. Anyway, she became a really sweet pet. :heart
Traveling in the car was so traumatic for Molly. We were able to find a mobile vet that came to our house and Molly was able to go to sleep in her own home in her favorite resting spot, ds2's little homeschool classroom. As you can imagine, our home has been a lonely place to be the past few days. :cry
