:think No idea. Very odd. I'd cut the weird end off and look inside to see if it looks ok to eat. :shrug

I think we did eat it.. there weren't many seeds in it... kind of like they were all a the end....

It looked partially fertilized to me and also picked early before the flower had dropped off. I have seen them like that if I pick it before the flower fades. But not exactly like that. :think

I've had them like that and left them alone. The unpollinated part gets all shriveled often. It depends.
