Never done it, but I've seen various barrels for sale in magazines and stuff. Looks like a great idea!

my DH attended a rain-barrel making seminar. i'm not sure what happened to the directions and shopping list but i can ask. i'm guessing there might be some plans on the internet. all i know for certain is that they are pretty easy to make. we got our barrels from a local recycling group but if you check with a soda distributor they might just give you a barrel.
