Do you not have any brown sugar or are you wanting to make it without brown sugar?

In the Simply Living thread there is a link to the Hillbilly Housewife. In there she has a way to make brown suger using white sugar and molasses. I do not remember the ratio but you can do a search on her site for brn sugar and you should be able to find it.

very good, but not as crunchy as the ones mom used to make... still, very good!

yeah, not quite as good. i let em cook a bit extra to get the crunchiness, just the flavors aren't as good as mom useta make, but for the ease ill deal with it :lol
