This is our first bloom on one of the Western Red Lilies we received exactly 3 years ago. We're so excited! The tiny bulbs were so fragile when we got them that I thought for sure none would survive. Most did, though, and over half of them are up this year and many have buds, too!
We were one of the few whose names were picked in a raffle in 2005. 8,000 people entered and 1,000 got lily bulbs.

This is our provincial flower and unfortunately it is becoming rare, hence the project.
