I clicked through a link here yesterday and found a blog about Bento (I'm thinking of starting with Sophia, she'd love it!)
Anyway, there was a tip to thaw food faster (http://lunchinabox.net/2008/06/16/speed-tip-frypan-defrosting/#more-429), which works with the same "technology" as those expensive "thaw fast" boards that used to be so popular.
So I tried it with a salmon steak last night. That bad boy went from rock solid frozen to totally thawed and ready to bake in just a little over 35 mins :jawdrop
