I have a tuna salad recipe that calls for 4 six ounce cans of tuna. Everything else is measured in "T" - like 6 T of minced carrots. Do you think it's tablespoons or teaspoons? :scratch

***New Question***

How do you count scallions (green onions)? The recipe says '3 Scallions' - is that three of the tube shaped leaves or three whole plants if you by the roots?

Which ingredient is it that you're questioning?

capital Ts are supposed to be for tablespoons.

Large T would equal tablespoon and small t would be teaspoon if I had to hazard a guess.

Oh, yes...is that what you meant? Unless there's a misprint, T is always tablespoon. :tu

Too late for you recipe, but it's the whole bulb. 3 scallions would 3 bulbs plus the greens a little way up.
