View Full Version : Should I go through my cooking mags, or just recycle them cold turkey?

I have some Taste of Home, Cooking Light, Quick Cooking and some Kraft Food & Family mags I've been hanging onto. While I really enjoyed reading them when they came, I can honestly say I haven't opened them for reference since they were put in the cook book cabinet :O.

Guess I answered my own question..... :P~

if you haven't opened them again I'd say chuck them (well, donate them :grin)

for the mags that have recipes I use (Living Without :rockon) I went through and cut out the recipes and put them in a binder

I'm in the process of going through one year of "cooking light" to write down the titles of my favorite recipes. Then I go to cookinglight.com and save them in my recipe book. Then I'm giving them to a friend. I just got rid of another years worth of "Light and Tasty" and another one similar to that though, without looking through them. Depends on if you're going to miss some of the recipes when they're gone. :giggle
