how do i clean a bare skin rug?

while potty learning bare nakid dd peed on this bear(?) skin rug... (no i did not purchase this - it was in the vacation home my parents bought and the girls love sitting/laying on it and my mom was going to get rid of it...)

you know, pee is sterile but can get funky depending on what it's one. I'd probably make a diluted vinegar spray and spray the area well and then let it dry. The vinegar smell should go away :think

thanks for that idea - i can do that! honestly, i threw it downstairs after it happened and haven't even checked to see if it was funky yet. i did use an insert (microfiber) to suck up the pee, but it still felt a tad damp when i moved it, so hopefully it won't have any funk :yes
