Need planter/pot ideas...

I love, love, love pottery but it's so expensive! Also, we rent our house, so I have to use pots/planters because I want to take my plants with me if we move. I really need help figuring out alternatives to pottery. Any ideas??? :think

I use any containors I have handy. Usually something ugly. :O

I use ugly old buckets too.

But i did find something really neat (although i'm too lazy to put it into effect :giggle)

Its to get wood blinds and cut them to size around your containers, and then wrap them around. it looks so pretty. I wish i saved the link, but it seems pretty strait forward, right? maybe? :shrug
