Our new kitchen is off of a great room - our living room and dining area. The curtains in there are a chocolate brown, or will be anyway.
The accents are the color of 14 carat gold and a pastel blue.

What should we do with the kitchen? I'm talking paint, towels, accessories, everything. We have cherry wood cabinets and stainless steel appliances.
I'm at a loss completely. Do I treat the stainless steel as a neutral?

There is also a powder room right off the kitchen. How much should the powder room match the rest of the house?

Thanks, brilliant ladies. I can't wait to hear what you say.

Stainless steel is pretty much a neutral. :yes

I'd go with a robin's egg blue for the kitchen walls. You can accent with browns and greens. :)

That sounds great :yes You could also find a more neutral version of the 14K gold color (so a muted and very earthy yellow-tone) and put that on the walls and still accent with browns, greens and blues. :yes

But then, I just really like yellow kitchens ;)
