I've made this recipe before a million times and just remembered to post it. It's from Cook's Illustrated and makes the classic pot roast. I'm not american but when we used to visit my aunt in new york she learned how to make a mean pot roast (with rice and beans of course ;) ) and this is what it tasted like.

Takes a while to cook but don't skimp on the time. With the leftovers I want to make the second recipe from Pioneer Woman's blog. I posted the idea to blue savannah's thread the other day and of course ended up with a craving:

How tender is this pot roast?

Oh Natalie look at you and your little one! Congratulations!

The pot roast (first recipe) is super tender. Since it cooks low but for such a long time most of the connective tissue melts and it pretty much pulls apart so it's best to separate it with forks instead of trying to slice it.
