help us pick a roof and shutter color...

our siding is just plain old white

I was thinking.... maroon shutters and a black roof.... what do you think?

we have to decide on a roof color to replace our roof thats blowing off.... later we will get shutters...

Having no clue about roofs (and having a black roof myself) doesn't dark colors absorb heat? Would that play into it at all?

Black or dark gray would work well with a white house. :yes

I like black roofs on white houses...or that dark charcoal grey colour. I would probably go with black shutters, too. But maroon is a longtime favourite colour of mine and would likely look great! Have you seen something you like while driving around? I have a white house with a red roof which is kinda' bold.
