Oil on clothing...how do you get it out?

I am horrible..I mean horrible with my clothes when it comes to cooking...I even wore an apron today and I still have oil on my shirt..how I am don't know. I can't tell you how many clothes I have ruined because I can't cook in the nude.. :giggle

How do you get oil out of clothes??

Try a little bit of dish soap :)

I was thinking the same....some Dawn dish soap before putting it in the wash

BTW....half of my maternity clothes from DS were ruined b/c of me splattering cooking oil on them.

:yes Another vote for putting Dawn on the spot before tossing it into the wash. I can't tell you how many shirts I tossed before being told this tip. :doh

Seriously, I've never been able to get it out. My mom, on the other hand, can.

She has something special that she sprays on it. And I know that with some oil stains, it takes several washes. :think

I'll have to ask her what she uses again. :think
