Is there a term for someone who is lacto-ovo veggie (no meat but okay with dairy and eggs) but does include fish? Just curious. I recently came across the term "flexitarian", which I found useful, but it also refers to people who occasionally eat other meats.

part-time vegetarian? Veg with exceptions? pseudo-veg? or you could just tell people "Sorry, I have a meat allergy." :shifty :giggle

I'll stall the conversation now so I don't overstep the guidelines for this forum...if I have time later, though, I may spin this in another forum...natural health maybe?

Lacto-ovo-pescatarian, to be more specific :smile

I was one for several years! After I became a mom and felt obligated to cook for my husband since I was home full time, it became too burdensome to cook different things for each of us (he wasn't happy without his meats), so I'm back to being an omnivore now.

But it's quicker and easier to say "Basically-I-don't-eat-anything-with-legs"
